Top 3 episodes from each season of 'Gilmore Girls'?
Just curious to know what other ppl's favortie episodes are. I would have done one or two, but when looking at the episode lists, there are at least three I love. With some of these season, I was struggling with 5 or six different ones. It was really, really tough!
Season One
1. "Kiss and Tell" (Ep. 7)- Rory's first kiss and date. Cute, sweet episode.
2. "Double Date" (Ep. 12)- I like Jackson and Sookie's first date, but it is Lorelai and the cousin that makes this a really amusing episode.
3. "Rory's Birthday Parties" (Ep.6)- You get to see the comparison between the Gilmore house and the town.
Season Two
1. "The Bracebridge Dinner" (Ep. 10)- I really enjoy episodes with all of the town and this is a good example. Plus, the chemistry with Jess and Rory is good in this one.
2. "A-Tisket, A-Tasket" (Ep. 13)- Another good town episode. Kirk is real funny in this one.
3. "The Road Trip to Harvard" (Ep. 4)- The B&B they stay in was hilarious.
Season Three
1. "A Deep Fried Korean Thanksgiving" (Ep. 9)- This is probably my very favorite episode of the entire series. It is the only one I watch annually before Thanksgiving every year. I love how every character is in it and each Thanksgiving is entertaining.
2. "They Shoot Gilmores, Don't They?" (Ep. 7)- The Kirk/Lorelai feud is really funny and I didn't care for Dean too much, so I was happy when they finally ended.
3. "A Tale of Poes and Fire" (Ep. 17)- Another more town-related episode, funny characters and the Poe event was also very amusing.
Season Four
1. "The Festival of Living Art" (Ep. 7)- Kirk is funny in this one and the pressure for Lorelai to not flinch makes this a really good episode.
2. "Nag Hammadi Is Where They Found the Gnostic Gospel" (Ep. 13)- What can I say? I am a sucker for Jess and liked the last scene at the firelight carnival.
3. "Last Week Fights, This Week Tights" (Ep. 21)- The whole Renaissance wedding is really memorable. Didn't care as much for the Jess's trip to Yale in the end of the episode, but the Stars Hollow events make up for the Rory relationship plotline. Plus, I like TJ a lot.
Season Five
1. "You Jump, I Jump, Jack" (Ep. 7)- I always really loved this episode. The whole life and death brigade event always stayed in my mind. Very unrealistic, but looked so damn cool and fun. And the less Dean is in the episode, the better. I also lilke the hilarity of how both Richard and Emily treat Luke.
2. "Say Something" (Ep. 14)- I usually don't love the more dramatic episodes, but Lauren Graham's performance in this episode was really good and gets me a tad choked up. And Rory going around town with Steve the limo driver tickled me.
3. "Written in the Stars" (Ep. 3)- I love how dedicated Luke seems to Lorelai, I really like how Rory and Logan first interact, and the town meeting is funny.
Season Six
1. "I Got a Sidekick Out of You" (Ep. 19)- Lane's two weddings. I like that the whole episode is about this. The Korean wedding and Zach's love of the outfit is funny. All of the town together is always a good thing.
2. "Friday Night's Alright for Fighting" (Ep. 13)- The last 10 minutes of this episode is what makes it so memorable.
3. "Super Cool Party People" (Ep. 20)- Lorelai coming to the rescue with April's birthday party and Luke's complete incompetence is highly entertaining. Though I do think Anna's overreaction was stupid and unnecessary.
Season Seven
1. "Bon Voyage" (Ep. 22)- I really like the series finale. Having every member in the episode is a must and was done well. The party for Rory and the goodbyes are very heartfelt and I like that Lorelai is oging to continue to have Friday night dinner with her parents. And of course I love that Lorelai ended up back with Luke.
2. "Lorelai? Lorelai?" (Ep. 20)- I really liked the dream sequence in the very beginning and was was entertained and touched by the whole karaoke scene with Lorelai.
3. "Hay Bale Maze" (Ep. 18). The first in the entire seventh season that really felt like an older episode. The last part with the hay bale is funny and I liked the conversation between Luke and Lorelai at the end.
