Douglas Adams's 'The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy'
This book is one of the many under-appreciated and wonderfully written beauties in sci-fi/comedy genre that I strongly recommend to anyone who enjoys light comedy. Douglas Adams in my opinion, is a literary genius. While this book may be seen as rather complicated for younger people, as he does have a tendency of creating characters with absurdly long names and using all of his huge vocabulary. But I prefer the movie version over the TV series which was tedious and boring. Some things were left unexplained in the show.
Beautiful things don't ask for attention. π
