How come in that crappy movie they made on this show, they make Slaghoople her maiden name. In the episode where the circus comes to town and we see Rodney the sword thrower was an ex of hers, it is revealed her maiden name is Pebble.

I did sixty in five minutes once...
I googled "Wilma Flintsone" amnd this is what the Wikipedia article on the character has to say on her maiden name:
"Wilma's maiden name is the subject of a continuity error. Several early episodes in the original series clearly stated Wilma's maiden name was "Pebble." In the second season episode "The Entertainer" (P-44), Wilma's old friend Greta Gravel remembers her as "Wilma Pebble". In season three episode "Dial S for Suspicion" (P-74), one of Wilma's old boyfriends, Rodney Whetstone, calls her "Wilma Pebble."
However, later episodes and spin-offs firmly state her maiden name is indeed "Slaghoople," based upon the name of Wilma's mother in the original series, Pearl Slaghoople. Flintstones' writer Earl Kress explained the discrepancy as such: "Unfortunately, it's just as simple as (Hanna-Barbera) not caring about the continuity."[15]
In the first live-action Flintstones movie, when Wilma is leaving Fred to live with her mother, Fred shouts: Oh, you're bluffing, Wilma Slaghoople!"
If you click on the "15" by Kress' quote it takes you to an article that gives you more information and an expanded quote which is as follows:
“The names of many things changed from episode to episode — Fred's rock quarry, his boss, their lodge,” says Kress, a former writer for the Flintstones, consulting producer on the show's DVD sets, and author of numerous Flintstones comics.
“Unfortunately, it's just as simple as (Hanna-Barbera) not caring about the continuity.”
I would say that Kress would be a pretty authoritative source.
