Childhood Toy Commercial Memory ANSWERED


I have very foggy memories of a line of bug-like monster toys being advertised on TV in the early 60's. I can remember a male voice saying "Look at those pinchers!!". The ads would show some sort of vehicle or machine manned by a little man figure being attacked by the bug-like monsters. The only vehicle I can remember for sure was a helicopter. A boy pulled on a string like you would an old top. You know, wrapped and then pulled hard and the blade would spin. Another boy would make the monster attack the helicopter. There were numerous vehicles and monsters, but I can't recall any more details. Does anyone know what I'm remembering? I think it was 63 or 64, not sure.
