The Millionaire - Michael Anthony hit by car

Also posted on The Millionaire board:

Which episode was Michael hit by a car on the job? A passerby, an elderly gentleman, finds the envelope with the address and takes it upon himself to complete the delivery. The would-be recipient, both skeptical and hostile, tells him, "You keep it". At the end, Mr. Tipton (and Michael), presumably unaware of the events, chooses the Good Samaritan as the next recipient, so he ends up with $2 million.

Of all of the early TV series that I remember, I think I would most like to have this one available on DVD. I loved it.

I don't recall the episode(s) that you describe. The IMDb pages, for many series, offer a synopsis of individual installments. I just looked at "The Millionaire," to find that there are a lot of entries that say "add a plot," which sounds as if there may not be a full record of the program's history, anywhere. Sad, if true.

There are some episodes available on YouTube, but they're random.

"The Millionaire" ran on CBS, as I recall. Maybe, together, the fan-base can find out if there is any means of finding, re-storing and releasing any of the program.

Thank you. I had checked the episode guide too, and of course, came up empty.
