Frank Bank, who played The Beav’s friend Lumpy Rutherford, has died.

Bummer...I liked Lumpy. One of many well-written and likable characters on that great show.

I loved the episode where Eddie and Wally chained Lumpy's car to a tree. When Lumpy pulled out of the driveway, his rear axle came off the car.

Mr Rutherford: "Clarence! You instigated this? Then you stay here and help these lads fix your car!"

Wally: "Please sir, don't make Lumpy help us."

Mr Rutherford: "Oh, yes, I see what you mean."

LOL...I watch reruns every morning and saw that not long ago.

I never think of Lumpy as a real bully.....

A little late...but RIP Frank Bank.
