This radio series for a while was telecast on WABD (now WNYW) in 1948. An episode can be found on various websites like YouTube. Not bad, really.

I remember enjoying it on the radio. Never knew it was on TV.
shareThe telecasts were largely tests to see if broadcasting a radio show on TV would work. I don't know how many test-telecasts were made, but at least two survive.

I bet CBS, Liptn tea and Arthur Godfrey paid attention and concluded broadcasting a radio show could be quite seccessful. For those who don't remember, Godrey's radio show was telecast for 2 hours Monday through Friday, 9am - 11am for several years. I didn't know Breakfast Club had been on TV, I usually listened to it on radio followed by Godfrey.
