Nikon D80 Help!!

Hi, so I just recently got my Nikon D80 and am not quite sure what to do about a problem that has started happening more and more frequently and for longer periods.

Sometimes, when I first turn the camera on, it somewhat "freezes" and I'm left unable to adjust my aperture, shutter speed, etc. When I look through the viewfinder, all I see flashing on the screen is 200 F -- [320] and when I try to take a picture the [320] turns to [r05].

Sometimes I can't even take a picture; everything is just frozen and that's blinking on the screen. It used to only happen for less than a minute or so, but recently it's been freezing up for up to five minutes.

I'm not quite sure if this is something I'll need to send the camera away for or if there's some sort of fix.
