Like I said on another thread, The Towering Inferno and The Poseidon Adventure are my two favourite disaster movies ever. I would be hard pressed to choose between them though, so I won't.

I definitely prefer The Towering Inferno. I find it to be much more exciting, and like somebody else said, in Poseidon everybody stands around arguing with each other, but when you have 300 people 135 floors up with a fire coming their way, there isn't much time for that.

If only those two guys had gotten over their differences and their power struggle...ahh, but then the drama wouldn't have been so intense.
