Merle Haggard: best songs of his?

One of my all-time favourites, was blessed with the priveledge of seeing him at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville earlier on this year.

My top ten at the moment looks something like this (not in order):

Always Wanting You
My Favorite Memory
Sing Me Back Home
Silver Wings
Mama Tried
The Emptiest Arms in the World
Today I Started Loving You Again
Misery & Gin
Hungry Eyes
You Don't Have Very Far to Go

Merle's the real genuine article as far as I'm concerned. Got hold of a copy of 'Big City' recently. His vocals on 'My Favorite Memory' blows me away.

"This house has wall-to-wall love,
Wall-to-wall love,
An' a big yeller moon up above!"

Already listed these, but my absolute favorite is Today I Started Loving You Again. Also Tonight The Bottle Let Me Down and Kern River.

He's my all time favorite singer.I love nearly everything he does. Here's just a few of my favorites:
"Ramblin' Fever"
"The Way I Am"
"My Own Kind of Hat"
"Big City"
"It's Been a Great Afternoon"
"Silver Wings"
"Swinging Doors"

I got to see him live, for the 2nd time in my life, just a little over a month ago.Merle sounded just as great as ever, but his son,Noel, who was one of the opening acts, was pretty good too.

Do I laugh now,or wait 'till it gets funny?
