Can anyone tell me some good country songs from today?

I seriously cannot listen to it today. It all sounds the same, all those pretty boys singing about their "gurl" in blue jeans in their trucks. Are there any fun songs that are not about sex and partying and hot chicks? Almost 3/4 of my country playlist (which ranges from the late 70s to 1999, with a few songs from 2006-2007) are country songs that aren't about partying or drinking or sex. Some are but at least the artists weren't pretty boys. One I can think of right now is Red Solo Cup. That is about drinking, yes. lol. And I cannot stand Rascal Flatts but the only song I like by them is My Wish. At my HS graduation it was played and someone gave me the lyrics in a special glass frame.
Whatever happened to REAL country from the 50s and 60s? Yes I grew up with Reba and Garth and Billy Ray and Shania and all of them but I think the 50s and 60s was real country. Some of it may be depressing but I still like the sound, especially with the slide guitar. One "depressing" song I love is Feed Jake by Pirates of the Mississippi. That song came out when I was about 2 back in early 1991 and it was one of the first songs I kind of remember hearing.

May I suggest Jonny Corndawg? He is a wonderful artist. Also known as Jonny Fritz. You have to look beyond anything mainstream if you want to find good music- that goes for any Genre, not just Country. I agree about the "Feed Jake" song. Another amazing song is "when you leave that way you can never go back" by Confederate Railroad.

Check out the Band Perry. They are the only group where I love EVERY song they have done. Some of my favorite songs from them are "If I Die Young", "All Your Life", and "End of Time".

I also really enjoy Martina McBride and Lady Antebellum.

And the "pretty boys" have done some good depressing songs. Like "Whiskey Lullaby" by Brad Paisley and "Walk a Little Straighter" by Billy Currington (the only Currington song I really like)

Yeah I've heard Whiskey Lullaby (lalalalalala). TBH Brad Paisley isn't even that good looking and this is coming from a guy. And I think I'm way better looking than the long haired guy from FGL.
One song I hadn't heard in years and recently heard again was Only The Wind by Billy Dean. It may be kind of sad but the "close your eyes and dream again" line makes it sound reassuring.
That and Two Sparrows in a Hurricane by Tanya Tucker are on my "bedtime mix" playlist. I'm looking at my country playlist and out of all 88 songs, there's only like, a handful that have to do with "bro country" and I wouldn't even consider them bro country. They're "Forever and ever, amen" by Randy Travis, "Fishin in the Dark" and "Baby's got a hold on me" by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, "Next to you, next to me" by Shenandoah, "If I didn't have you" by Randy Travis, "That Summer" by Garth Brooks, and "Baby likes to rock it" by the Tractors. The other songs consist of Reba Mcentire, Lorrie Morgan, Roseanne Cash, Tanya Tucker, Alabama, Garth Brooks, The Bellamy Brothers, The Judds, Travis Tritt, Shania Twain, Tim McGraw, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Billy Ray, Vince Gill, The Judds, Paul Overstreet, Collin Raye, Dolly Parton . . . I'll give The Band Perry a listen.
