That would be awesome! I'm working on that, compiling an ultimate soundtrack of the first Back to the Future film anyway.
I've got the "Music from the Motion Picture Soundtrack", which has all the pop songs from the first film except Mr. Sandman, which can be downloaded. Pitifully, this CD only showcases I believe 3 tracks from Alan Silvestri's exciting score.
The complete Alan Silvestri score was released through Intrada Records and just went out of print, so you have to spend like $80 to get it; no thanks (it originally retailed for $34.95 I believe, still a bit pricey for even a 2-CD set but nowhere near $80). I'm waiting 'til Intrada prints another 5,000 copies or so or the current unit price drops a bit.
Then I'll compile a track-for-track, ultimate 2-CD soundtrack, which would showcase both the pop tracks and Alan Silvestri's score, interspersed, in sequence, how they were heard in the film!
Track 1 would be Huey Lewis and the News' The Power of Love
Track 2 would be Alan Silvestri's "unveiling" score music for the first sight of the Dolorean at night at Twin Pines Mall
etc.
