Question about ensemble cast songs
I was recently watching the Nightmare Before Christmas, which made me think of this question. It can apply to any musical number where multiple cast members have lines in the song.
Do they record the entire song in one sitting with everyone present, or do they call in individual performers to deliver only their couple of lines, and then edit the whole thing later on in post?
