The Original MCA version of E.T. on CD
Anyone know where I can buy it? I've only seen it on Amazon on vinyl. The 20th Anniversary Edition is a complete score edition and it is great, but lacks the "suites" of E.T. and Me and Flying. Plus the bike chase and finale music is pretty much identical to the movie in the old 1982 MCA version, whereas in the 20th Anniversary Edition there are a few alterations, like the timing is off when the boys on bikes land at sunset and right before Elliott and E.T. hug, the music changes and takes us right out of the emotion of the moment, where we feel like we're listening to a score from another movie!
