Winter Sports Movies

Now that winter is in full effect in northern hemisphere I am enjoying watching Eurosports continuous coverage of events. Also one of my favorite movies is:

Downhill Racer (1969)

Robert Redfords downhill version of Steve McQueens Le Mans. He shows what it takes sometimes to be a champion. Awesome movie and it's got a super beautiful Camilla Sparv. Gene Hackman is great as well as sporting hero coach.

Some others I can think of:

Slap Shot (1977) - Ice hockey
Touch and Go (1986) - Ice hockey
Cool Runnings (1993) - Bobsled
Tonya & Nancy: The Inside Story (1994) (TV) - Ice skating
A Promise Kept: The Oksana Baiul Story (1994) (TV) - Ice skating

Anyone know any more? It can be from any winter sport.
Thanks.

Yeah for winter sports movies you can't beat "Cool Runnings", mon.

A couple of more off the top of my head would be...

"Young Blood" (1986) A hockey movie starring Rob Lowe and Patrick Swayze.

"Blades of glory" (2007) Will Ferrell and John Heder ice skating comedy.

"Better off dead" (1985) John Cusack comedy involving downhill skiing.

Miracle (2004) Story of the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team that not only does a great job recreating all the action on the ice, but it has a very authentic period feel to it. Kurt Russell, in portraying head coach Herb Brooks, absolutely nails the Northeastern Minnesota, Iron Range accent. Trouble is, Herb Brooks wasn't from that area and sounded nothing like Russell's spot on accent.
