Fifty Cent The Massacre decade anniversary.

Ten years ago today Fifty Cent released The Massacre. I actually prefer this over Get Rich Or Die Trying. It is a cornucopia of street *beep* and a smattering of night club and joints for women.

The anniversary of the album that people started to realize that Fiddy was a one trick pony.

Not something that an artist should celebrate.

reply

This is true, his career did decline right after this album but at least he went out on top of his game..

How can you say he "went out on top of his game" given that he's since put out three albums that have failed to garner him anything close to the commercial success or critical acclaim of his first two albums?

He didn't go out; he fell off.

reply

You could say that he fell off as well, the main point is that Massacre is his last successful album.

Which is a shame.

50 Cent and G-Unit looked like they where going to take over the east coast rap crown after GRoDT came out.

But I'm sure Fiddy and his crew is still counting the cash from that record deal, so no one's cryin' for em'.

No one Gives it to you...you have to take it
