Does anyone know if this show is coming back? It took me awhile, but it turned out I really liked the characters and the story line for them.
sharesince it was good they had to cancel it. one this is that it might come out on DVD with unaired episodes. kind of like the short live 'Night Stalker' (Kolchak:the night stalker remake.) it only aired 5 episodes but the dvd had all episodes. odd how things work these days.
I know! It is quite odd.... (grrr). However, you may have noticed that there is a new "Rookie" type show coming on (or perhaps it aired already, unsure)...but they had a good thing...why pull it and make a new one? As I said...GRRR!
shareI liked Rookie Blue when it was on TV. Although it started out kind of slow to me, I became quite fond of the show.

ABC, jointly with Canadian network Global, have announced that Rookie Blue has been renewed for a third season on both networks. The early pickup comes just four episodes into the show's second season.
Produced and set in Toronto, Canada, Rookie Blue follows five rookie cops navigating the ups and downs of their first year on the force. So far this summer the show has ranked Number 1 in its 10:00pm Thursday time slot among adults 18-49, a key demographic.
