Hawaii 5 O - new season character addition

Talk about messing up a good show. The producers just announced that addition of Christine Lahti to the cast as McGarrett's supposedly dead mother.
We all remember this bimbo as the wise cracking, smug, self indulgent bitch as one of the ADS's in Law & Order: SVU. Her character drank herself out of the show.
I hope she isn't going to recreate her God awful performance in 5 OH, or I and many of my co-fans will stop watching the show.

OUCH!
That being said, I understand that she only has several appearances on the show, definitely not on the entire season. Maybe 15 eps. Maybe that's a lot. But I'm sure she will be anything but a drunk on this show!
I think she will be good...I don't think the producers would hire anyone but the best! They have been doing extremely well hiring so far, so I think it should be a good season!
What I am looking forward to seeing is Steve and Danny stranded in the middle of the ocean in a dinghy for half the episode! Now that will be entertainment!!

Christine will only be in 6 episodes...so don't stop watching OP.

And she was playing a character on Law & Order SVU not herself!!!
