Loose similarity of Person of Interest to the books - The Destroyer?
I have just started looking at the series Person of Interest. It is a very good show. I see some connections to the Destroyer Series, created by Richard Sapir and Warren Murphy. The CURE computer was cutting edge in the series (1963 era) and the principal characters - HAROLD W. SMITH and REMO WILLIAMS seem parallel to Harold Finch and John Reese. I enjoyed reading the books and I cannot but help see the similar themes. Person of Interest is however a more contemporary look at post terrorist victim USA. I will definitely be viewing to see how this show continues to develop.
