Some help appreciated

Hello, everybody!

I'm looking for the name of a North-American photographer who used to take wonderful black and white pictures of the Moon over different places across America. I remember his pictures from a book my dad had when I was a little kid. This book was gifted to my uncle, who lost it when he moved to another state. These pictures haunt my mind, I want to see them again, but I don't know the name of the photographer!

I'd appreciate anything you could do for me!
Thank you very much in advance!

Best wishes

Ansel Adams took some beautiful Moon pictures throughout his career. Autumn Moon is breathtaking

Hello, Bill!

First of all, thanks for answering! I've already researched Mr. Adams' wonderful work but the photographer I look for used the Moon in a series of photos where she was like the "main character", the landscape was breathtaking but the Moon ruled over everything. It was interesting that he took shots of the Moon (specially the Full Moon) where she appears almost out of proportion, similar to a painting by Giotto. There is this particular picture I remember of an old truck (40's or 50's, I'm not sure) passing in a lonely road lit only by a Full Moon.

Anyway, thank you very much for your help and attention!

Best wishes
