I'm slowly delving into the world of photography and have found myself falling in love with the work of Edmund Teske and Sylvia Plasch. Joel Peter Witkin is also interesting, but I'm still trying to figure out if I think he's exploitative or not.

I find Wiskin fascinating, some of the ways he has photographed bodies are tremendous. I'm not over-keen on Teske, but his experimental work is very important. Sylvia Plasch is a new name to me.

shareYes, that's probably who the OP meant: good thinking. Some of her work is terrific, but much of it leaves me cold.
