Compact High-Definition Cameras

So I was already to buy myself a GoPro video camera - and then I just heard that Polaroid has a new 'Cube' camera out that they unveiled at the latest Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
Anybody out there that has used either one - and can tell me the pros/cons of owning one?
BTW, I'm not a smart-phone user, so I have no interest in using one of those for a carry-around video camera...

At £90, the lens in the Polaroid can't be that good.

Actually, I checked-out several reviews on YouTube last night - and it seems to rate fairly well for a camera in this price range.

Good lenses simply aren't that cheap.
