What do you call this style of photography?

I see it all the time in magazines. It's desaturated, it's non-flash and it's au-natural. What do you call this style?

It does use a flash (at least, the lower one)

This style is called 'snapshot aesthetic'. Terry Richardson is one of the more famous ones to use it, but there's plenty more.

The first image is a link error.

The second image is a nude.

Photography with natural light is called "available light". I see no sign though that the second image was actually taken with available light.

Back and white photography is, well, black and white photography. Even if grayscale or monochrome would be more precise terms.
