My Worst Movie Watching Experience

Please excuse me for not posting this on BEST AND WORST, but the threads there usually vanish in less than a day.
In Oct 1981 I came down with a psychotic depression that lasted for a year and almost killed me. Naturally it was necessary to experiment with different anti-psychotic medications, and for a third of the year 1982 my brain simply did not work. I tried at that time to watch the GENGHIS KHAN movie from 1965 that stars Omar Sharif as the Khan, but failed completely. I could not follow the movie at all because my brain was totally turned off.
Later in the 80s, after I had been for years on the anti-psychotic regime that actually worked for me, I watched GENGHIS KHAN again, and it was a REVELATION! I could follow the plot, I could recognise the characters, and I could understand what part each character played in the story; the difference between being in a total fog because the brain did not work, and the brain working at full throttle, was truly the difference between night and day!
What similar frustrating movie watching experiences do you recall?
