Now that Showtime cancelled the Borgias

Now that show time has cancelled the Borgias and the third season will be the last one.

Do you think Showtime has already planned their replacement ? Or do you think they looking for another historical show?

I hope their show its another historical one with great costumes and great looking actors with real talent.
And with another Oscar winner or nominee like maybe this time they could go for Ralph Fiennes or Geoffrey rush since non of then is in huge demand for big profile films.

I've seen their up coming projects and they are kind of free

I wish is that this writer (or any writer) would take on the challenge of writing a series about the Plantagents. There were so many generations, characters, and drama. The potential is practically endless. For goodness sakes, that's when the war of roses took place!!
