He is a short wanker.
shareI've listened to a few interviews with Paulides over the years. Taken with a grain of salt, it's interesting stuff but I still believe there are logical explanations for many of the disappearances. Keep in mind, the guy is also a Bigfoot enthusiast; it could be said that he's trying to tie the disappearances in with his belief in Bigfoot. Also, I've noticed that his 411 books are quite expensive. If the information he's putting out is valid and important, he should consider lowering the price of his books so more people can afford them.
Have you seen the little piggies crawling in the dirt?

DP does not price the books himself. The books are actually middle range if you get them from his CanAm site - he always tells people to stay away from Amazon, where the books are hiked and sold by re-sellers.

Yes, it could be said, but it wouldn't be accurate, because DP has always been strict and stringent in keeping the subject of Bigfoot away from his 411 research. In fact, he has said that the clusters contain facets that could not possibly relate to Bigfoot, e.g., weather fronts that suddenly move in, making searching difficult if not impossible; living or dead "disappeared" kids found miles away high on mountains that they could not have climbed on their own, but with no evidence of car tire tracks or animal tracks of any kind (no bears, mountain lions or Bigfoot) - as if the kids had been lifted and/or flown to the places where they are found (Bigfoot couldn't do that), the association of boulder fields with disappearances (why would Bigfoot haunt rock fields that have scant plant and animal food?) ... not to mention DP's newer research on urban disappearances for which of course he never attributes to the actions of wild animals (or Bigfoot).
