I've heard that it's best to make your own. I'm scared to mess with them, so i can't speak from personal experience to say which works better.

Buy any one.

But, I'll tell you a secret. If you really want it to work--leave it in a cemetery over night. Go to a cemetery, scout out a good hiding spot and, stash the board and planchette there. Could be anywhere--as long as it's within the bounds of the cemetery. From dusk til dawn. One full night. See what happens after.

My advice: while the ouija is in the cemetery say a prayer over the box to keep the board "encased" when not in use.

You know that old adage, "don't mess with fire or you will get burned."? Or that one "If you go looking for evil, evil will find you!"? I highly recommend not buying / playing with a Ouija Board.
