When someone like say CNN say "investors" blah blah blah

who are they talking about??

The big institutional investors?

Hedge Fund Investors?

Joe Public investors?

Who specifically are these investors??

Depends on the context.

No too difficult to figure out if you're paying attention.

In general it seems like it refers to investors in the stock market.
