Antinatalism

What are your thoughts on anti-natalism?

I've read about philosophers such as David Benatar, Arthur Schopenhauer and Peter Wessel Zapffe.

David Benatar is author of the 2006 book Better Never to Have Been.

Zapffe remarked: A child is flung out into the cosmic brutality without hesistation.

The concept is bleak. Bascually being born caused nothing but negative energies as human kill animals or take from the earth and kill plants. It goes more deeply into the harms you become exposed to such as disease or pain. But I guess my take is as long as you don't waste resources and are enviromental friendly you give back what you take. Being postitve and trying to find good points to all suffering. As disease can straighten immune systems or being a family together.

Sure all diseases are not cureable or pain avoidable but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Antinatalism for the weak. Pronatalism for the alpha strong

It's a quiet cul-de-sac in the meandering road of moral philosophy. A few interesting authors have tarried there, but by its very nature, it's a concept from which the inquiring mind soon passes.
