Semi O.T.: Rank the decades.

I always hear people talking about their favorite decade, but I haven't actually heard rankings. So I thought it would be fun to start one. By the way, this is semi off-topic because the movies of each decade are a factor. Here's my ranking:

#8 The '40s.
#7 The '30s.
#6 The '60s.
#5 The '50s.
#4 The '80s (I.M.H.O. it's the most overrated decade).
#3 The '70s.
#2 The '00s.
#1 The '90s.

I feel it wouldn't be fair to include the current decade because it's not over yet. But if you do want to include it and/or other decades I left out, go ahead. If you want to say why you ranked them the way you did, go ahead too.

This is a really tough question. The only decades I really dislike are the 80's and 90's...and early 2000's. Anyway...

2000's+
1900's/50's
90's
80's

would be good if new films were less conservative and showed real urinating and pooing as already the case in porn films.

2010's are shaping up to be in the 5th of 6th spot

1. 40s (including 1939, the greatest year of film ever)
2. 50s
3. 80s
4. 70s
5. 90s
6. 30s (excluding 1939)
7. 60s
8-25. To be determined
26. 2000s
27. To be determined
28. 2010s

Sorry to be such a downer on recent decades, but I find them to be too superficial, both blockbusters and critically acclaimed movies alike. Too much cinematic shorthand.
