I am currently studying film and have asked to research a director, for this i have chosen Woody Allen. The focus statement i have chosen for this is. Love:the true meaning behind a Woody Allen film.
I would like to find out how Woody Allen represents love in his film and what affect this gives to the audiences.
His movies are bitter sweet. I say this because he presents love (in my opinion) as a spontaneous, real-at-the-moment, kind of emotion. Love is like water kinda. It flows freely and naturally. We cant control how we feel. Love does not last forever but it does not mean it wasn't real. He shows that although each is unique, we will have multiple loves in a life time.
