I am trying to found out how to make a similar effect (that noisy, trebly radio effect) but with a different song. It has to come as close to that same effect as possible.
I am using Audacity.
Try and find plugins that will do it. An old windows xp program called cool edit pro 2 used to have a filter called "old radio" or something like that. You could also just try to had another track in audacity that is made up of a bit of white noise, much quieter than your real track. And then output it as 8 bit mono which is the same as old analog radios and phones.
