Indeed. While film is partly narrative, and the play's the thing, a good film starts with a good script, film is partly visual too, and quality cinematography, or lack thereof, makes a difference too. Thanks for sharing.

Agree The visual interpretation of the DOP for me is essential. The working relationship between director and cinematographer has to be strong.
