ABC Family on the rise.

Anyone else feel like ABC Family has really stepped up their game and filled the niche left when The WB and UPN disappeared? When you think about the big family dramas today you're not thinking about The Vampire Diaries, you're thinking about Pretty Little Liars and Secret Life of the American Teenager.

Back when they were rerunning Seventh Heaven and Gilmore Girls 24/7 I never thought they would become a consequential network but they really have.

Would I be correct in saying ABC Family first started getting into something serious with Kyle XY? It didn't last, but when it started, it was huge.

Yes, post-2006 they did seem to make it more into the mainstream.
I don't see the point of it being called "Family" though.

They say history repeats itself, but I am uncertain.
