What will these three kids network channels outcome be?

I honestly think that Nikelodeon and Disney Channel will be around in another 30 years, but I don't think that Cartoon Network might not be around in 30 years because if you look at the schedule for Cartoon Network, it doesn't show much in the way of cartoons that much anymore.

Nick will still be showing SpongeBob & DeGrassi marathons.

Disney will still be rerunning the old teen sitcoms whose stars will now be in their 50's.

The Cartoon Network will be showing everything but actual cartoons!

I watched Nick 20 years ago, and on occasion Disney. I can tell you that in the past 20 years, both channels have gotten VERY effective at making programs that are highly addictive to young children, and that isn't going to change unless, say, laws are passed about children's television. Disney has nailed the formula for churning out pop stars and creating lots of merchandise with their face on it. Nick seems to have more success with the cartoons, which again have a massive amount of merchandise. In my day, Nick had quite the variety of programs, but now it seems like both channels concentrate on a few highly successful shows.
