Made-for TV movie network

I'd love to see this become a reality. Those M-F-TV movies were a big part of my TV viewing as I was growing up in the Seventies and Eighties. There would be both classics (like Brian's Song and The Night Stalker) and the lesser-knowns (think Siege with Martin Balsam and Dorian Harewood). The good, the bad, the ugly, all would be welcome on this network whether they deserved Emmys or the television equivalent of the Golden Raspberrys. With the amount of movies that have been made, this channel could probably run for a long time before airing any repeats. There could also be some commercials for the movies, preferably the ones that were used when these movies were originally aired. How does this sound?

I like that idea.I grew up in the same era you did and remember how prevalent these movies were on each network.I think there are enough out there to make an entire network possible.Mini-series,like "Roots" and "Shogun",could be included too.

Any connection between your reality and mine is purely coincidental

Showing miniseries would be cool too.

Wonderful idea! And, as others have said, mini-series too, would be great! Wonderful World of Disney and Hallmark Hall of Fame TV movies and others... the channel would be plumb full! AND, IT WOULD CERTAINLY GAIN AN AUDIENCE----AND MAKE NEW MFTVM fans too!

Please excuse typos/funny wording; I use speech-recognition that doesn't always recognize!

I'd be all over that. There were some classics from that era. Rememeber 'The Challenge'?
