IMDb needs your advice -- definition of a Soap Opera
The IMDb staff has approved having "Soap Opera" as a genre to be included in the database, to be added to the list of existing genres (see http://www.imdb.com/updates/guide/genres for the current list of genres).
However, the IMDb is asking anyone interested to give advice on how the Soap Opera genre should be defined. You can find the discussion at:
