I roared with laughter at todays episode when Ronan and the D. A. showed clips of each of the suspects fighting with Diane. Poor woman must have fought off half of Genoa City! The once credible drama has become a comedy--consciously or unconsciously--what a joke!

the pissss poor writing on Y&R has long been a thorn in the side of all the viewers/fans. For real hilarity, go to the Y&R boards and read the comments there.
The writers on the show now are USELESS. The Young and the USELESS. Plots are thin; there is no regard for character history is continuing story lines or developing them; the are more guilty than most shows of SORASing their characters (that's Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome == the premature aging of the children who are born, often to women who have been told they'll never get preg again, or fathered by men who had vasectomies years ago!)
I could go on. but it's Sunday morning, and I'm going out for a bike ride shortly.
