Any more news about that reboot of the Phantom?

Last I heard something was like 2010 and I believe maybe Sam Worthington was attached.

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.

I'd forgotten all about it tbh. Haven't heard a thing 

Given that this was from 9 months ago and that is the latest, I would say that this is dead. Too bad.

Yea, now I worry about Shane Black's Doc Savage movie.

The villainy you teach me I will execute-and it shall go hard but I will better the instruction.

Am I the only one who enjoyed "The Shadow", "The Phantom" and "The Rocketeer"? I thought they were fun, popcorn movies and should be left alone. I would still like to see a "Doc Savage" movie done.

If you see a message from me, read my biography first before making a post. Thanks!

Hell no, I love those movies! Honestly though, I would kill for a cinematic universe of pulp classic heroes like Shadow, Phantom, Mandrake the Magician, etc. Speaking of which, there's supposed to be a Mandrake movie in the works now.

My ONLY gripe with "The Phantom" is when Drax introduces himself..."My name is Xander Drax. Xander Drax. Begins and ends with the letter X." That could have been left on the cutting room floor, in my opinion. It was just too cheesy.

Yea it was but honestly the whole movie was cheesy. But I'm glad it was though. It was before that time in the late 90s and early 2000s where every mid-level superhero movie was dark and gritty (even before Nolan). I think even Billy Zane said the '96 film was ahead of its time for being so joyful instead of brooding.

Whatever you are, be a good one.
