Question about Toshiba Blu-Ray player problems...
My parents just moved, and while buying a TV and video equipment, they bought a Toshiba Blu-Ray player that the guy at the store recomended.
It worked allright, but we've encountered 2 problems.
1) I was watching The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011 version) with my mother, and during the opening credits, at one point there is a series of single-frame cuts that show the CGI Lisbeth closer and further away from the camera. The first time we watched it, the screen only registered about half of the single-frames, whereas the other single-frames just appeared as black screen. The second time I watched it on the Blu-Ray player, the whole scene was invisible, and all that I could see was a blank, black screen, as though the TV or player wasn't "registering" or displaying the flash-frames.
2) We tried to watch The Muppets and the entire time, the screen kept "glitching" for 1-3 frames (it looked like the picture suddenly got inexplicably blurry and had a "trailing" effect, as though the image suddenly shifted) before returning to normal. It happens at random intervels. (Sometimes only 1 time a minute, sometimes almost constantly) Also, the disc seemed to take about 5-10x times longer to load than it did when I watched it on my PS3.
Anyone have any similar problems or know any solutions? It isn't connected to the internet or anything.
And FURTHERMORE, this is my signature! SERIOUSLY! Did you think I was still talking about my point?
