Does anyone else snub the Emmys?

Because of The Wire?

I know I do.

I must have missed that one.

I snub them, but not because of that. I did around the early 00s. I got sick of the repetitiveness of giving the award to the SAME actors and shows every year (like from the Sopranos), when I felt other actors and shows should have been recognized. By the time they get around to honoring newer actors and shows, it's probably because the old ones are off the air!

Knots Landing ****ing sucks. The Wire does not, and is lauded as the greatest show ever made by many critics and fans alike. When the Emmys miss something like that, for 5 years, there is a problem. It shows lack of integrity, and when you lose integrity, it is very, very hard to get it back. Hilariously enough, The Wire was actually nominated twice for episodes,(Lost both times)which is probably the worst category you could nominate it in. As each episode is more a chapter of the season and never stand alone. Therefore, they lost a viewer. You can call it childish all you want, I will just reply that you are an idiot. Knots Landing...for ****s sakes.
