TV Show Snubbing at the Emmys

I feel that every year the same shows are nominated at the Emmys. Shouldn't there be a little bit more variety? There were a lot of shows I didn't see on the ballot this year. Where is The Office? Walking Dead? Parks and Recreation? New Girl? There are tons of shows that I never see at the Emmys. What do ya'll think?

I agree. There are some great shows that don't get nominated.

That's why I choose not to watch the sh!t.

Well, I really don't like either version of the Office but it's just one of those shows you either really like or hate I guess. Though I like New Girl, I don't know if I'd say it's that emmy worthy. I like the Walking Dead and (a big) maybe a nomination for actor in a supporting role, but it doesn't deserve more than that.

Other shows that have been snubbed? Hmmm. I actually think Robert Carlyle does an amazing job in Once Upon a Time. I keep hearing how great Person of Interest is, I actually expected the show to be on here. I haven't seen the final season of Fringe yet, but John Noble is so good in the show I'm surprised he hasn't been nominated in the past. But that's all I can think off.

GLARING omissions from this year:

Best Actress Drama - Tatiana Maslany "Orphan Black". If the show was more well known she would have easily scored a nom and a win.

Best Actress Drama - Gillian Anderson "The Fall" - Easily the second best performance in the category this year.

Maisie Williams "Game of Thrones", Michelle Fairley "Game of Thrones" I would have understood one of them not getting in. But neither... and Emilia getting a nom? Did they now watch Season 3? Are the voters two years behind in watching the show? Emilia should have been nomed and won for Season 1, not this season where she was mostly a placeholder.

Mads Mikkelsen "Hannibal" - Again, I'm guessing Emmy voters are always at least a year behind in watching shows, or this was a slam dunk nomination.

I need a new sig.
