Kim Novak's Makeover Scene in Vertigo

Hi, so I have to prepare this essay, and I was wondering if anyone could help me out a bit.

If anyone can suggest scenes from any film, tv show or a book or a painting which reminds you or seems similar to or contrasts but has a similar theme in any way to Kim Novak's makeover scene (you know the 360 angle shot) in the second half, that would be great.
