The 1965 movie The Collector starring Terence Stamp and Samantha Edgar http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0059043/ is one of my favourite movies ever and I would love to see a remake but I just don't know who I could imagine pulling off those roles. Any ideas?

What about Alan Rickman and Amanda Seyfried? However, the harder things to replace would be director William Wyler and the haunting score by Maurice Jarre.
