America's Toughest Job on NBC (crab fishing)

I am so disappointed. What is this ridiculous show?

Apparently, it's some kind of competition/elimination reality show where the contestants try a different (deadliest) job in the world every week. I hate those kind of shows. And I can't stand this trivializing of my fave show (Deadliest Catch on Discovery).

These people are so annoying! And it looks like they will be trivializing a lot of the world's most deadliest jobs.

Did anyone watch this junk? What do you think?

You know the creator of this series is also the creator of Dedlies Catch, Ice Road Truckers, and Axe Men.

Really? But I can't stand it. Odd. :-)

They're showing an Ice Road Trucker marathon now. It's okay. I haven't seen Axe Men yet. That sounds interesting. But that show on NBC was just not my cup of tea. Oh, well.

That also explains the similarity I noticed between DC and IRT. The cool rock theme song, the globe and maps, the same phrases (the vast ocean ... these brave men ... could die out here, etc.). I like the formula. It works. I do think the DC guys are more charismatic, though.
