Reading while dreaming

I read just with no problems in my last dream. Nearly a paragraph in raised capital letters on a wall. So why have I always heard you can't?

reply

People generally cannot read while they are dreaming. However, the ability to read is regained if Freddy Krueger is about to enter a person's dream. Please be careful.

Most people can read while dreaming, it's just that what you read will usually change if you look away and then look back. This is one 'reality-check' to see if you're dreaming & one of the tools for learning 'lucid dreaming', where you become aware that you're dreaming and may be able to exert some control & influence on the dream.

Not mentioned in this article, it's thought by some that dreaming is your sub-conscious mind's way of doing a 'disk de-frag' and if you dream lucidly too often, you may experience you may experience you may experience...you might develop a slight tic...

Also It's now two days in a row.

I have had numerous dreams wherein I 'died'. Nothing is law, just rules.

Happened to me too, I just woke up instead though.
