christ the lord is risen in pay
hallelujah.
the check just cleared the other day
hallelujah.
we can buy that whole town there
hallelujah.
erect a cross in the market square
hallelujah.


who would have guessed we'd strike it rich
hallelujah.
by playing off some virgin snitch
hallelujah.
who couldn't keep her two legs crossed
hallelujah.
she got knocked up and blamed the boss
hallelujah.


so it seems our world won't end
hallelujah.
with jesus as our accountant friend
hallelujah.
we can charge them up the butt
hallelujah.
as long as god keeps his mouth shut
hallelujah.
