I'm stuck in the 90s or something. someone help.

As stated, I'm stuck in like the last decade. I have no idea what 1080i or 1080p or any of that stuff means, so will anyone help me? I have a 52" RCA widescreen tv that I got a couple years back. I also have a Playstation 3, and I wanted to know what quality I can get. Should I get an HDMI cable or what? Again, help and some explanation of this stuff would be appreciated.

Wikipedia is your friend, as is Google.

I doubt your rca will have an hdmi hookup

Don't shoot yourself. Don't shoot each other. And especially... don't shoot me.

First, I would look in the manual or the RCA website to find out what the TV's maximum supported resolution is and if you have HDMI ports or not. After that, I would suggest going to http://www.cnet.com/4520-7874_1-5108580-3.html to learn about HDTVs. It says "Buying Guide", but it should be helpful for learning about HD in general.
