Why does it seem that a lot of LCD TVs have lousy speakers?
I'm just wondering. It seems like a big complaint when it comes to these TVs.
TVs always have lousy speakers, except for some big rear-projection units. They're just there for the benefit of people that ain't smart enough to hook the TV up to a home theater or stereo system, or that just want to hear the news and watch sitcoms. Flat screen TVs have much less room for speakers than normal TVs, which leads to even worse sound.
