Is there a big difference between a 720p and a 1080p LCD 32-inch TV?

Depends on how far you're sitting from it. I figure if you're going to be more than eight feet away, the difference is going to be negligible.

Spec wise a big difference but to your eyes very little unless like the previous poster said you are very close to the TV.

32 inches? Unless you sit 3 feet from it, the only difference is in the price tag.
